This past year marked the 1-year anniversary of my solo freelance journey! As I've reflected and retrospected on my ups and downs, I realized one major gap in my fractional-based endeavor is a lack of feedback from my clients. I know the value I've delivered, and I can tell I have positive relationships with my repeat clients, but I've been very reticent to request feedback or a testimonial from anyone.
I have done some research on my own, but I thought I would ask here too. How do you all solicit feedback and testimonials as a fractional professional? For me, the challenge comes mainly from not wanting to make requests of my clients, who are often extremely busy running their own businesses, for something that offers no benefit to them. Are there approaches or techniques you've found to minimize that disruption and make asking for feedback easier?
