One year of FRCTNL

Posted .
Hello everybody! It's been one year since FRCTNL launched.

Since then, we've grown to over 700 members. I know of at least a dozen people who have been hired directly through the FRCTNL community, and many more who have applied techniques here to find clients. I've personally hired four people here.

It's also been fun to see community members like
Taylor Crane
Taylor Crane
build businesses that help grow the number of companies hiring fractionally, and
Sasha Podolsky

hosting IRL dinners.

In the last year, I've also had a lot of events and change. I originally launched FRCTNL to test some discussion software I was making, and then saw FRCTNL grow into a life of its own. Then, I launched the discussion platform behind FRCTNL - called Booklet. These were both indie ideas I was working on alone.

More recently, I made the switch back to running a VC-funded startup. And, I've applied what I've preached - including building a mostly-fractional team and launching an official fractional work program. From indiehacker back to venture-funded founder"

I'm excited to see the future of FRCTNL. Please feel free to share what you're working on, ask questions you have, and post any roles you come across. This entire community was founded with no business model - just with the goal of helping fractionals to help each other.
